iv. The internet marketing makes it necessary that your refrain from making any exaggerated or bold claims.

Since your scope to explain things through the internet marketing is limited, making such bold claims would only sound fishy and make your customer disinterested even if it is true. Hence, try to make your offers reasonable. 

v. Time your discount offers properly. Instead of offering them at one go, it is better to give them one by one to keep your customer guessing. Also, you can time these offers with that of any festival season. 

vi. Internet marketing dictates that, you should be able to compete in the market. Prospective customers browse all the websites offering similar kinds of products and services.

Hence, your offers and benefits should be exclusive in nature so that your rivals in the internet business marketing can not follow suit. This requires bit of innovation and you should be prepared to take the risk.

vii. You should know that in internet marketing, the transaction is not done immediately. Hence, you should be able have the contact information of the potential buyer of your products and services. 

Try to encourage him to provide his contact information like the email address, telephone numbers with which you can contact him later. 

viii. Try to develop a personal relationship with your customer. Write your responses in such way that the customer would feel that it was written specially for him. Also, send greetings on his birthdays or new years.

You should try to possess as much personal information of him as possible so that you can use them to good effects while writing the messages.
